A quick recap of our journey to Poland: Flights across the country and then across the ocean are boring. And when you exit the aircraft and look at the seats in first class, twinges of jealousy become rather powerful. But - Madeline made friends with a flight attendant, and helped lock food service carts and clean up the galley. Fast friends now, the flight attendant arranged for a shout out from the first officer as he welcomed the flight to Berlin ("...weather is rainy, flight is almost done, special welcome to Madeline..."). AND, she was invited to the cockpit to say hello to the pilot....
So, if you haven't read previous entries, there always seem to be shananigans with the flat. You'll no doubt be pleased to know that most of the trash and rubble is gone from the terrace. There is no A/C. Nobody staying here actually believed there would be. The kitchen is a nice, modern looking place. I did open the freezer (bottom door on the left) to an interesting spectacle today, though. Where's my grandfather when I need him?
Here are some pics from outside the building. Looking towards the lovely ladies, our flat is up (2nd floor) on the right. We look down on those pine trees planted in the courtyard.
How come MK gets all that special treatment?
ReplyDeleteLove all those pics. Mom
